When I decided to run, I promised myself I wouldn’t lead from far away. I wanted to be there in person. I’d listen carefully, ask questions, and take the time to hear what people have to say. Nothing replaces talking face-to-face.
Every time I knock on a door, I learn more about what’s important to families in our ward, the problems they face, and how proud they are of our community.
Door knocking matters because it helps build real relationships and trust. It’s how politicians can truly understand what people need and care about, instead of just hearing it through others.
That’s why I’ll keep knocking—because your voice matters, and I want to hear you.
